Carpenter (m/f/d)

Sport Signage is a global company in the event and sports branding industry. We are expanding our great team! We are seeking dedicated Carpenters (m/f/d) for branding installations beside the race track for our motorsport event operations worldwide.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

As a Carpenter, you will play an important role in our signage for motorsport races around the world at various event locations. Your main tasks include:

• Building plinths, frames, cladding/finishing of truss structures, DJ desks, and similar objects, mainly around the paddock to the highest standards (see past projects on our Instagram: SportSignage)
• Support on-site installations, breakdowns, and fixing issues
• Work from visual files, technical drawings, or CAD files
• Select production equipment according to application requirements
• Dispose of hazardous waste and general trash appropriately
• Adhere to industry-standard safety practices and operate all tools and equipment safely
• Collaborate with project managers to meet specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to constructions or installations
• Assist with unloading, storage, cleaning, and maintenance of materials and tools
• Regular tasks at headquarters in Amberg, Germany, including preparation and follow-up work before and after races (e.g., loading materials)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role
• Experience working with various machinery – power tools and hand tools
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, good time management, and flexibility
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of an international team
• Ability to work under pressure to deliver high-volume, high-quality results
• Ability to perform quality checks
• General familiarity with safe operation of tools and equipment
• Willingness to shadow experienced carpenters to gain practical knowledge and skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for international projects
• Basic English skills required
